Carbon Related Research Activities:
1. Multi-scale carbon materials for electrochemical energy storage: supercapacitors, metal-ion capacitors, Li/Na-ion batteries, metal-sulfur batteries, redox flow batteries, etc.
2. Carbon-based electrocatalysts for electrochemical energy conversion: water splitting, fuel cells, metal-air batteries
3. Heterogeneous carbons for environmental remediation: waster treatment, aerobic aqueous reactions, waste recycling, etc.
4. Exploration of new 2D materials: synthesis (supramolecular engineering, bottom-up synthesis, interface self-assembly, etc.), properties and applications (energy, separation, sensor, etc.)
